La Etoile de Bessèges 2022 se llevará a cabo desde el miércoles 2 de febrero hasta el domingo 6 en territorio francés. Un total de 145 ciclistas tomarán parte de la edición 52 de esta carrera. Prueba que reunirá a varios de los ciclistas mas importantes del pelotón y que servirá para que muchos de ellos hagan su debut en la temporada.
Estarán presentes 9 equipos de categoría worldtour, 9 proteam y 3 equipos franceses de licencia continental. Entre los ciclistas a tener en cuenta para pelear por el título están: Michal Kwiatkowski y Richard Carapaz del Ineos grenadiers, Greg Van Avermaet, Bauke Mollema y Thibaut Pinot.
